Do heat pumps really work in Ohio winters?+
Yes. Cold-climate heat pumps are engineered to operate efficiently well below freezing. For the coldest stretches, we often pair them with a high-efficiency gas furnace (a hybrid "dual-fuel" system) so the home automatically chooses the most efficient heat source at any temperature.
Will a heat pump lower my bills?+
Usually, yes, especially if you’re replacing electric baseboard, an older A/C + furnace, or oil/propane heat. Actual savings depend on your home’s envelope and utility rates; we’ll walk you through realistic numbers before you commit.
Are rebates or tax credits available?+
Federal tax credits and utility rebates for qualifying heat pumps change year to year. We keep on top of current programs and factor them into your quote.
