How efficient are mini-splits?+
Very. Modern inverter-driven mini-splits achieve SEER2 ratings well above 20 and continue operating efficiently in cold weather thanks to variable-speed compressors.
Are they noisy?+
No, indoor heads run around 19–25 dB on low, quieter than a whisper. Outdoor units are much quieter than a traditional condenser.
